We are delighted to welcome Raleigh-based abstract artist Wiley Johnson to his new exhibition Amport in Motion In Motion! Wiley is a self-taught artist who first picked up his brush in 2009 and found solace and self-expression on the canvas through acrylic. After his brother’s tragic loss, painting became a more powerful tool to heal and navigate the world, becoming a person with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). He is full of vitality, and his unplanned paintings are full of colors and emotions, reflecting his belief that the feeling of art should be felt. Wiley is the first North Carolina artist to be represented by works of art, and his works feature in numerous solo and group exhibitions as well as large-scale public facilities.
