How does the salary with the eye bonus work?
For pay with bonus points, the card will receive a 35% bonus of the amount of points used when paying for any flights on their selected carriers, or any business or first-class flight booked through the AMEX travel portal- regardless of airline- up to 1 million points per calendar year.
Note that you must select the same airline for your 35% bonus and for credit fees statement credit (up to $ 200 per calendar year; registration is required).
Assuming you have AMEX business platinum and redeem your eyes for a eligible flight, you should automatically receive an eye bonus. However, it can take up to a month.
As you can see from my screenshots, it takes a month to receive my 35% bonus points from the business class flight I book Delta Water Lines Using Pay’s choice with eyes, fly from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) New York to Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas.
