After months of resuming and intensifying international operations from Monterrey, Mexico, Volais is now cutting all its eight roads from the Northern Mexican city. Data from CereiumAirline Analysis Company, shows a complete withdrawal of service to the United States by the end of July 2025. These cuts include destinations such as Los Angeles International Airport
(LAX), Chicago Ohair International Airport
(Ord), Miami International Airport
(Mia), and Auckland International Airport
(Oak), some of them were recently re -launched.
This step indicates a widespread shift in the international network priorities of the Mexican Carro Company, especially given that some of these methods have been restored as part of a renewed batch in the American market less than a year ago. Others, like Denver International Airport
(Den) and Dallas Airport/Fort Worth International
(DFW), previously introduced and turned off before 2019. The sudden withdrawal leaves a big gap in Monterrey’s connection with the main cities in the United States.
All roads end by July 2025
From January to July 2025, Volais runs our American flights from Monterrey to San Antonio (SAT), Chicago, Auckland, Los Angeles, Miami International Airport
(Mia), Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport
(IAH), Dallas and Denver, CIIUM data appears. Each of these roads is scheduled to end before or at the end of July. The most common services are Monterrey -Houston, which reaches 14 weekly flights, Monterey -Dallas and San Antonio, which reach 7 weekly trips. Both disappear from the schedule in May.
By June 2025, there are still only two American roads in service: Los Angeles and Miami. The Monterrey -Los Angeles road runs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, while Monterrey -Miami operates on Friday. Come to July 2025, only Miami appears in the table and remains one trip per week. This makes Monterrey – Miami Volaris’s final road from Monterrey.
Simple flights have communicated to Volaris for additional information. However, the spokesperson was not immediately available.
Modern expansions have been reflected now
In November 2024, Volaris was opened Three new American roads From Monterre to San Antonio, Chicago and Oakland. These additions came in addition to wider expansion in the United States by the low -cost transportation company, with the aim of enhancing communication between Mexico and the United States.
Last month, Volais started a second wave of new methods of Monerrey, part of the seasonal expansion targeting travelers in spring and summer. These included four destinations in the United States, all of which run them Airbus A320
A family plane, according to The world of travel and tour.
Despite the promising start, Volais now stops all these American roads. There are several reasons behind the sudden shift of Follaris, including changing demand, re -customization of aircraft and operating expenses. Profitability may be affected by increasing the level of competition in the American and Mexican markets.
