Utah Tourism Office promotes the sky of the dark state and the heavenly wonders that make it the leading destination in the world of astronomical cars.
While the state of Utah celebrates in April as the month of Dark Sky Monh, a tradition that was established in 2021, travelers can enjoy the night sky in Utah throughout the year. It is characterized by some of the darkest sky on the face of the earth, providing an unusual star experience. With 26 accredited places of Dark Sky International, including the Natural Bridges National Monument, the first garden dedicated to the dark sky in the world, all the five national parks in Utah, nine government gardens, five cities and more.

Utah’s commitment to maintaining its dark sky with its dedication to responsible tourism, ensuring that these natural treasures remain for future generations. This dedication has led to the leadership of the state with 26 adopted places from Dark Sky International.
