Expanded
Thanks for the Ryan Motty article in January 2024 on Inspections before the trip“Expand your add -ons.” I am in particular the side ribbon on after flight inspections, which I think is subject to use.
I will expand your list of elements to check after the trip. Of course, the extent of the post -journey that we perform is a great relationship with any abnormal problems or cases that we have seen on the way, but a little additional attention can make the exit again simplicity and faster.
Examples can include liquid quantities – including fuel, oil and TK, and their renovation – can clean the windows and regulate the cabin.
Ryan’s comments about the struggle to combat self -satisfaction, resonating with me. It is completely right when he writes, “I learned lessons in the difficult way, through unsafe errors or situations, stick to the most difficult.”
Thank you again!

You are completely right. We will also add elements such as checking the tuft of the waiting brakes appropriately, the storm locks and engine clips are installed, and the plane or hanging is tied. We have heard many stories about moving the weather or damage that has not been properly secured.
As for contentment … we were all there, and we hope to teach our lessons. Often, these pages are filled with examples of lessons learned after it is too late.

I listen
Another benefit to get the next VFR trip (“Someone is watching me“January 2024) is the experience that pilots can get from interacting with ATC. Even new new pilots often face problems in dealing with control units and keeping up with” party line “atmosphere on many frequencies.
Yes, Flight Meethe is a circumstantial awareness tool and reduce entry into the complex airspace, but your advice to listen to ATC and what is going on to get the big image. I would like to summarize the next trip by reminding pilots that we usually cannot learn much when we talk and not listen.

Since the next VFR trip is mainly free for anyone with a radio, it makes sense to use it as an additional tool to help our circumstantial awareness. As I noticed, it is also an excellent experience for pilots looking to make flying a or more profession.
Wonderful entertainment can also be, when the weather or traffic is very difficult. It is highly recommended.
