Seattle Takoma International Airport (SEA) celebrated the seventy-fifth anniversary of July 9, 2024, followed by the welcome of the new international road this year, with Chinese Airlines (TPe)-just a few days later on July 14, using Airbus A350-900.
The timeline is as follows:

Sea began flight operations on July 9, 1949. Things were very different at the time – the public public was allowed on the road slope to watch the plane, and the station was small compared to what it became.

In 1949, the airport had eight gates and served 130,549 passengers that year. Fast forward until 2024, SEA contains 89 gates and serves 140,000 passengers every day.

More interesting facts: SEA’s first international service with Japanese Airlines was in 1959. Today, there are 25 international holders serving 33 global destinations.

Which leads us well to … aircraft!

China Airways has long served Seattle. The last opening passenger flight is the sixth from the flight in North America, and for the first time to serve the passenger to the Pacific Ocean in the northwest of the United States.

Chinese airlines are the third airline providing a direct service to Taipei, and competes for passengers with Delta Air and Eva Air.

It is always a great experience to go out to the slope of the plane’s arrival, especially the opening.
We congratulate us for the sea for 75 years.
