EasyJet has just launched its first ever flight to an exciting island destination, often known as the “African Caribbean”.
Budget operators to take British holidaymakers from London Gatwick Go to Sal, a small island in Cape Verde, three times a week.
Flights launched last week leave every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, giving visitors the opportunity to soak up the island’s sunshine year-round.
EasyJet describes the new route as a “mile” as it marks the operator’s first sub-Saharan service.
