The Australian National Capital Authority calls for the formation of the future of the Commonwealth Park

The National Capital Authority (NCA) called on the Australian community to form the future of the Commonwealth Park in Canberra after issuing a new concept vision to activate it.

Commonwealth Park Concept Vision 2025 determines the early thinking of NCA in options and opportunities to renew the Commonwealth Garden over the coming decades.

The concept of vision seeks to preserve the current integrity and uses of Mark Commonwealth, while looking at the ways that can develop over time to meet the future needs of society.

“NCA is obligated to unlike Mrs. Silvia Crowe’s original plan and the importance of Community Park today as a home for major occasions and a very loved public resource, while exploring the park opportunities to respond to future needs in Canberra and Ras capital,” said Karen Duran PSM.

“NCA calls on Australians to have their opinion on options and opportunities in seeing the concept, as well as other suggestions that have not been covered in our early thinking.

“Commonwealth Park Concept Vision 2025 is the beginning of a continuous discussion with the community that will reach NCA work in the future of the Commonwealth Park with its progress.

“Delivery will occur over many years, which reflects the priorities of the government and society, with each stage subject to further planning, design, participation and detailed consultation.”
