A group of fishermen in Texas were shocked after they broke the record to catch the biggest blue tuna. Fishing tuna is not for the weak, with the fish put enough battle.
It took out a group of them split, using some gaffs and many strong ropes to cook large-scale tuna fish, and finally, they succeeded, leading to record time for crew!

David Esslinger and a group of his friends along the coast of Galveston, Texas, rode Catillac Carson Deer (46-foot Catamaran) looking for blue tuna.
“We look like a moving trailer: Shimano Tiagra 130s in the central console, 1600 pounds of ice, a month’s food, fried chicken, harness, and devotion to this amazing sports fishing,”
David said online at a Note Facebook Record the day. On the Catillac ship, the crew is ready to fish for something big in the bay.
“The big tuna began to break the surface and the spirit of our team began to lift,” Esslinger recorded.
“Then it happened – the right rigger descends. Fish running about 10 seconds and spit on 12/0 mustad hooks and bait – when my heart sinks,”
He explained that when he ran through the meeting. “I came to the drag and gave it [the reel] 10 cranks. Once I was involved [reel] Clicker again giant fish back. That’s when the first 3/4 [reel] Spool runs at 35 pounds drag starts. “

Esslinger has some great equipment on the ship, with Reel Shimano Tiagra 130A can hold 3315 meters from the 150 pound test line, in addition to 180 pound fluorocarbon leaders. When the crew comes in contact with the tuna, it bounces quickly and pigeons in an uncertain way, leaving the crew with a strong power struggle against this big fish.
The crew works together in an incredible way. Immediately, everyone takes a certain position to gain strength on the tuna. Esslinger explained that he extended his distance up to 45 pounds of pressure in an attempt to postpone tuna, which caused him to rise to the top, but he was still fighting.
“I refuse [the reel] to 52 pounds drag to slow down [sp]”Said Esslinger.
After a big battle -it is unfortunate that Esslinger is uncertain they can win, and the lack of battle seats, which fishermen are often used when following big targets -like this. They just have to work as a team, to lock their trophies.
“With a shaking body and an unusable hand [from the fight] I headed to the edge of the boat and screamed in surprise – ‘Giant Bluefin!’ “
The group found that they are currently holding a state record of 8 pounds, with their tuna weighing 884 pounds.
