We caught up with singers, actresses and TV hosts Toyah Willcox At her top holiday attractions and why she regularly searched for certain destinations on her early tours.
The earliest holiday memory?
Playing on the estuary between the rocks in Cornwall and Padsto, two or three years old.
My siblings and I spent the whole day in the water, from candy to clam cockles, I had snacks.
First time abroad?
My seven-year-old jersey.
I fell in love with the island.
The highlight is visiting the 200-foot-deep crater of the Devil’s Cave, but to my disappointment we did not see the Devil.

Toyah Willcox’s first trip abroad was a seven-year-old jersey. Her highlight is the Devil’s Hole (pictured), a natural crater on the northern coast of the island, measuring about 100 feet in size

The earliest travel memories?

How does the tour change?
During my first British tour in 1977, I rode a motorcycle to the show. Now I drive or have a driver.
The most exotic show?
Cliffs concert in Bali, with people like Belinda Carlisle watching from the sea below in front of an audience on a cruise ship. Sadly the next day I had to fly back to the UK, in Butlin, Bognor.
Have you ever had a foul custom?
In 1979-80, I was considered a “punk rock singer” and my band was taken to a room and undressed during landing in Sweden and Finland.
Toyah was considered a “punk” in her early career, living in a converted British railway warehouse called “Mayhem” which she also used as a studio
Favorite hotel?
Rural park, hull estuary.
The destination you dream of?
I would love to revisit Bermuda and Belize, which is both special to me.
