
Southampton Airport in the UK has deployed a new digital assistant supported by Hello Lamp Post, with the aim of improving the passenger travel experience, before the tumultuous summer season.

The initiative followed a successful experience conducted last year at Glasgow Airport, which focused on supporting passengers who need special help.
The experiment recorded a decrease in inquiries directed at customer service employees by 50 %, and supported more than 12300 additional passengers annually, and achieved a 86 % satisfaction rate among users who have service, according to Southampton Airport.
Depending on the positive results of the experiment, the Southampton Airport is closely worked with the Hello Lamp Post to enhance the capabilities of the digital assistant, making it accessible to all travelers.
