SITA, NEC partner to enhance the adoption of digital identity

SITA Airways has entered into partnership with NEC, a provider of vital authentication techniques, to enhance global adoption of digital identity solutions in the travel industry.

This cooperation will witness the merging of NEC into the ecosystem of the SITA digital travel, which is an open and inter -operational framework designed to facilitate the verification of digital identity in actual time across the various systems.

The ecosystem, which was developed in conjunction with Indicio, aims to simplify the process of airports, airlines and governments by eliminating the need for direct integration between identity and investigation exporters.

Suitable for this ecosystem is a network of confidence, which creates protocols for safe participation of digital accreditation data all over the world.

This framework is designed with the privacy approach separately, enabling travelers to control their personal data, including the ability to determine when and with those who share their approval data.

Focusing on data security and privacy, the framework guarantees that personal information is still protected and under the control of the traveler.

“With Seta, we have delivered biometric solutions installed at airports all over the world, creating safe and smooth travel experiences for thousands of passengers every day,” said Nanome Nadamine, chief manager in the NEC section.

“This expanded cooperation will accelerate global adoption and set a new standard for trusted digital travel.”

According to the Sita Air Transport ITIGHTS 2024 report, 28 % of airlines and 43 % of airports are planned to implement biological management solutions during the next year, indicating an increased demand for inter -operating systems.

The current lack of draining is widely hindered, but the cooperation between SITA and NEC aims to address this problem by providing a developmental framework for safe identity exchange.

By addressing long -term overlapping operating challenges, it is expected that the partnership between SITA and NEC will facilitate better digital identities between passengers.

The partnership will help the industry in enhancing security and improving passenger experience in general at various touch points.

“With the biometric NEC experience and the leading Sita newspaper in the industry from vital touch points around the world, we are in a good position to accelerate the transformation of digital travel all over the world,” said Jeremy Springal, First Vice President of Sita Bords.

newly, Sita acquired CCMMilan -based expert at the internal airport. This acquisition aims to convert the airport spaces by integrating advanced technology with smart design, which puts the way for future airports.
