The resort was founded by the wife and husband of Kelsey and Mike Sheofsky, who ran Shelter coLuxury tent rentals and event production companies.
“The Russian River area has always held a special place in our hearts for natural beauty and amazing local communities,” Kelsey Sheofsky told Travel + free time. “When we find the property that will be an electric river, our main goal is to design space to gather in nature and create an outdoor destination that focuses on society.”

Located in a 12 -acre area near Guerneville city, River Electric has 40 tents equipped with a redwood tree. Although accommodation is designed to grow guests in the natural world, each tent is equipped with modern amenities such as electricity and wifi. A central bathroom has personal and family-sized booths filled with bath products coordinated with homemade custom Heliotrope in California-based brands.
Outside of the bed, the resort offers two swimming pools located in the center, open for guests, day pass holder, and membership. Inspired by the culture of the European Coast Club, the River Electric’s Swim Club offers a $ 32 -day pass that comes with mobile chairs, with the Chaise Lounge and Cabanas are also available for rent.
