Kantas has announced the appointment of Ash Hug as the new CEO of the Americas, based in Los Angeles.
In its new role, Huil will lead the commercial, financial and operational performance of Qantas throughout the United States, Canada and South America. It will also play a major role in building a airline before the launch of Project Sunrise, the first ever -stopped flight between New York and the East Coast of Australia.
Ash brings a wealth of experience for this role, after she spent more than 17 years in Qantas in a group of high positions. He led a difference through people, transformation, commercial partnerships, sales, and recently the position of head of global sales and customers of Qantas Freight, as he had an effective role in developing the global network and enhancing relations with customers.
