The entire experience was amazing! The hotel is more like a resort and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The manager is also very professional. I plan to stay at this hotel the next time I visit Miami.

Hotel lobby and facilities were absolutely wonderful. I truly look forward to coming back again, even despite the construction on the pool for the entire week. The smell of the lobby, the style and ambiance, and even the location were all 5 stars. Booking via Travelzoo was a breeze. I love that I was able to book directly with the hotel (vs buying vouchers and then using them) and saving on the resort fee was the best feature. It made it so much easier to budget for. The price as well was exactly what the room was worth – overall absolutely wonderful value and one of my favourite trips.
I only have 2 issues – first, the washroom desperately needs an update. There were black specks on the top of the mirror and the floor needed to be cleaned better. The carpet seemed a bit damp when we first went in as well. Second, the construction – I had previously inquired when the construction would be loud and if it would happen at 6 am. Thankfully, it did not. However, there was construction at 2AM-4AM that was extremely loud, it sounded like it was right outside our window! That could have certainly been avoided.

Wonderful hotel, will definitely be back. The lobby has a wonderful vibe that instantly makes you feel at ease and on vacation. The rooms are small, but as a historic hotel, I expected that. For 2 people it was fine. Staff were also wonderful and gave some great recos. We will definitely be back!

Everything was great, they even gave us a bottle of wine for our 26th wedding anniversary. We loved getting on the bikes and checking out the area. Wonderful place, with awesome staff.
