Lufthansa Cargo launched its first usual trips in all Cargo between Frankfurt and Katowice, which represents a great expansion in its Polish network.
The new track, which is operated twice a week, is presented by Airbus A321F capable of carrying up to 28 tons of goods.
A321F, which was presented by Lufthansa to its fleet in March 2022, is well suited to European regional roads. The plane provides flexible loading options, with a capacity of up to 14 containers on the upper deck (maximum height of 208 cm) and 10 containers in the lower surface (the maximum height 115 cm). Lufthansa currently runs four of these tight charging.
In addition to the A321F fleet, Lufthansa Cargo 18 runs Boeing WideBody Boeing, including six Aerologic run during weekends.
The airline also works to take advantage of the 480 Group Lufthansa charging capacity, using its abdomen for additional charging.
This new Katowice -Frankfurt link is based on the fingerprint in Lufthansa Cargo in the region. Since January 2021, the transportation company has operated the RFS Service Recovery facility at Katowice Airport, and the transport of shipments by truck to and from other airports. These RFS transfers, airline numbers are set and treated as part of the air freight network.
Cargo regular trips will provide a distinct charging solution for companies in southern Poland, and the reliability of the service and the speed of the region will be expected to enhance the speed of the area.
