Jeep makes its new Avenger 4XE debut in Europe

Jeep has taken a major step in the compact SUV space, the newest addition to its growing lineup of electric vehicles. Combining urban efficiency with proven mid-road capability, the Avenger 4XE is now available to order in a selection of trims, including top-range off-road models. The timing couldn’t be better, as it became increasingly expensive for urban explorers in European cities such as Amsterdam and Berlin, owning and operating internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. Moreover, since the Avengers are made of Tychy, mutual tariffs should not theoretically affect the retail price of the entire EU market.

The Jeep Avengers 4xe is the 48-volt hybrid system paired with a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine that produces 136 horsepower with two 21 kilogram motors and is mounted on each shaft. This setting provides a combined output of 145 horsepower and enables all-wheel drive. The system is paired with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and can be operated in full electric mode at low speeds. The Jeep’s acceleration is 9.5 seconds and its maximum speed is 194 km/h, which is 10 km/h faster than the E-Hybrid variant.

The Avenger 4XE is designed to handle a variety of terrain, thanks to enhanced 210mm and optimization methods, ground clearance at disconnection and departure angles, 22, 21 and 35 degrees, respectively. It can penetrate 400mm of Ford water and climb up to 40% gradients on unpaved surfaces. The rear axle has a 22.7:1 reducer that provides torque of up to 1,900 Newton meters, improving traction on solid terrain. The smart AWD system provides different modes based on speed and terrain, including splitting at 50:50 torque at low speeds and disengagement at highway speeds for improved efficiency.

Drivers can choose from four SELEC-TERRAIN modes (automatic, snow, sand and dirt, and sports) to tailor performance to specific driving conditions. The vehicle also incorporates the Jeep’s multi-link rear suspension system, which is more common on large vehicles. This improves ride quality and rear axle pronunciation, making it more comfortable on uneven surfaces.

The Avenger 4XE offers three different decorations: land, land and limited edition north face models. Highland trim includes 17-inch black alloy wheels with all-season tires, all-season headlights, washable interior materials, and a suite of driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control and hillside drops.

Onshore decor introduces advanced touches above the high ground, including complete LED projector headlights, velvet floor mats, privacy glass, ambient lighting, 360-degree parking sensor system, level 2 assisted driving, wireless charging and blind-spot monitoring. Delivery of the decoration is expected to begin in May 2025.

The top of the collection is the Avenger 4Xe North Face Edition, a collaboration between Jeep and outdoor clothing brands. Limited to 4,806 units (the elevation of Montblanc), the model features a unique peak gold accent, a unique palette inspired by nature, and solid design elements including a grille with terrain pattern pattern and reflective hood stickers. Inside, it includes a unique seating interior modeled with the iconic river jacket to the north and 3D terrain floor mats. The buyer also received a brand welcome kit containing tents, duffel bags and water bottles.

Internal updates throughout the lineup emphasize comfort and durability. The material is waterproof, stain resistant and easy to clean. Manage infotainment with a 10.25-inch touch screen and digital instrument panel of the same size. The Connection Services suite includes real-time navigation updates, maintenance alerts, and integration with Jeep smartphone apps. The new in-system CHATGPT capability enhances the experience by providing AI-powered travel advice and brand-related information.
