Cornwall and Devon may get a brand new adventure park in the near future.
The Lifton transformed farmland has been revealed on the border of two southwest England counties, entering a water park that offers activities including water skiing and open water swimming.
The park is scheduled to be developed by Polson Farm, owned by a couple named Mel and Ed.
In a detailed plan on their website, they said: “Our dream is to transform this farmland into an amazing park that offers a lot of activities in the newly excavated lake.”
“Pictures: comfortable cafes, scenic walking trails and public areas, located in exciting water-based activities such as swimming, paddleboarding, water skiing and water parks.”
The couple also provides an image of a dreamy water park that illustrates how the A30 passes through it.
In addition to the original farmhouse, the parking lot and bus stop will also be located on the north side of the road.
The rest of the park will be on the other side of the A30 and will include two water parks, one of which will be suitable for the kids.

There will also be a lake for water sports, as well as a clubhouse with cafes, work center and multi-purpose space.
Mel and Ed also detailed the Lily Pad community space, which they hope to use for small local events such as food festivals or manufacturers’ markets.
They continued: “Through the development of the park, we aim to create new job opportunities and provide a sustainable platform for local businesses.
“We envision parks as hubs for environmentally friendly tourism, strengthening the local economy while coordinating with the natural landscape.”
The local planning authority will soon make a decision on the plan if all plans can be opened next summer.

The news was heartbroken by the park’s former visitors, calling the closure a “huge loss” and “absolute courage.”
Flambards of Helston announced its closure in November 2024, citing rising costs and a “steady decline in visitor numbers.”
“Flambards has been a precious destination passed down from generation to generation, and we provide you with a farewell to you,” a statement on the park’s Facebook page said.
