These handsome ships represent Hal’s usual grace and tenderness of successful marriages and are served with a large dose of graceful modern Pizazz. And they are also an ideal size: large enough to provide a lot of amenities, and small enough to be closer than today’s giant giant companies.

Volendam sail down From Vancouver and Skyway (Summer).
Zaandam Sailing Mexican Riviera from San Diego (winter, spring); Hawaii from San Diego (winter, spring) and Vancouver (fall); and down From Vancouver and Seward (summer).
Launched at the beginning of this century Volendam and Zaandam Tagged as the first step towards a more diverse, mainstream future, Holland America offers an experience designed to appeal to the vital 40s-aged tide, while still satisfying the core of the line’s older passengers. These boats feature other restaurants, internet centers and huge gyms that don’t match many attracting young people, but their overall atmosphere is more traditional than the Carnival, Princess and Royal Caribbean – and, for that matter, compared to the fresher and more shimmering Vista-Vista-Class class boats of the series. These are classic ships, but only a little funk makes things out of date – note the signature Bill Clinton saxophone and Iggy Pop Guitar ZaandamElegant lounge with sea view.
Over the past few years, these vessels, as well as the rest of the HAL fleet, have been upgraded with exceptional enhanced signatures including Explore the Café Internet Center, Enhanced Children’s Facilities, the Culinary Arts Center’s Demonstration Kitchen and Upgraded Cabin Facilities.
In a word: spacious. These standard 186 to 196 square feet cabins are the largest in the industry and have a more modern, bold look than on older boats on the production line. The fabric is made of salmon red, burgundy, gold and bronze, and the walls are striped light gold fabrics with gold-plated prints hanging on them. The bathroom is spacious and well designed with plenty of storage shelves and counter space. All exterior cabins have shower/tub combinations (short tub, but bathtub), while there is only shower inside the cabin. The cabin drawer space is abundant, the closet is spacious, and the shelves are great if you want to adjust the space configuration. There is a storage drawer under each bed.
All cabins have living areas, as well as the signature of the Netherlands-US, from flat-screen TVs and DVD players to Terry-Cloth Bathrobes, massage shower heads, lit magnifying makeup mirrors, and salon-quality hair dryers. The bed is super rich with three-piece mattress and 100% Egyptian cotton sheets.
On the balcony and navigation deck, 197 suites and mini suites have balcony. A gorgeous penthouse suite with a size of 1,126 square feet includes a balcony and is decorated with a unique fragment such as a 19th-century Portuguese porcelain vase and Louis XVI marble table lamp.
Twenty-one cabins have access to wheelchairs.
The two-story main dining room is really charming, framed with floor-to-ceiling windows and pierced by dramatic stairs. The classic trio offers guests serenades among top-notch bass. Outside the second floor of the restaurant, women don’t want to miss: a great powder room with sea views and plenty of elbow starts, a room with vanity and stools, toilet and sink near. The two ships also feature HAL’s Fleetwide Pacific Northwest Specialty restaurant, the Intimate Pinnacle Grill”).
The Lido Buffet restaurant is attractive and efficiently built for salads, desserts and drinks respectively, reducing the chance of huge lines. A sandwich stands on delicious fresh bread to serve its works.
VolendamThe public areas are themed with flowers; ZaandamSports music theme. On board Volendam, Each back stair landing has a still life painting, and a place outside the library has a bunch of exquisite Delf tulip vases (ironically, with fake silk tulips). You can even create a virtual garden in Bloom in the performance lounge seats in floral-themed ornate graduation colors, from magenta to marigold colors. ZaandamOne of the more bizarre and inspiring atrium decorations we know is a huge, mostly decorated baroque organ, a typical and inspiring atrium decoration decorated in the image of musicians and dancers, and among the numerous instruments scattered on the boat, displaying a classic Ornette Ornette Coleman-style plastic Grafton sax, and the showroom of the Ellabore of the Elaster of the Elabice loun, scattered among the numerous instruments on the boat. Candelabra) outside the card room. An electric guitar display in the atrium stair tower signed by Queen, Eric Clapton and Rolling Stones illustrates Hal’s drive attracts young passengers – even if “young” means 50.
Overall, the public areas are easy to browse due to almost the entire HAL fleet. The corridors are extensive and there is little chance of getting lost or losing. Overall, the surface and fabric are an attractive mixture that is subtle texture and materials, from tapestries walls and ceilings to antenna chairs, marble tabletops and smoked glass. Volendam There is even a red rubber piano and suede wall, similar to a rattan. ZaandamThe pianos are all very fashionable: the piano in the piano bar looks like it is made of scrap wood and rusty nails. The Lido restaurant is completely psychedelic.
The main hub of the boat is the Explore Cafe, a combination of internet centers and coffee bars, with plenty of comfortable seating and magazines to read.
The warm and almost glowing cozy explorer’s lounge is another favorite area, with a nearby sea view lounge and adjacent piano bar with its round, round pill-style leather bar stool and plush sofa. On busy nights, the Ocean Bar may be crowded by the bar, but there is usually plenty of space throughout the room or near the dance floor, while the live jazz bands play dancing music before and after dinner.
The popular Crow’s nest-style nightclub has been redesigned and now features bright, modern colors of banquets and banquets, as well as translucent white floor-to-ceiling curtains that serve as both decor and removable fences, as well as private events. Cocktail mixing classes and other activities are held here during the day; after dinner, it becomes a disco and nightclub on board. The Culinary Arts Center Demo Kitchen shares space with the Wajang Theatre and is a venue for cooking demonstrations at least twice per cruise, held by acclaimed chefs. Like other HAL vessels, the main showroom on board is a two-story business with movable single seats and banquet groups on the ground in front of the stage so that passengers can feel comfortable.
Both ships have impressive art and antiques throughout their public areas. Robbery opens Volendam Including the real Renaissance fountain outside the casino (the most expensive work on board), a marble-studded table in the library (Hal Signature) and a small pottery mask that dates back to 1200 B.C. The history of this mask can be preserved in a display case near the Explorer’s Lounge. exist Zaandam, An area outside the library has replicas of Egyptian jewelry and huge fragments of Egyptian statues.
These onboard gyms are both attractive and spacious, with windows all over dozens of state-of-the-art machines. The boat’s spa has been upgraded and you won’t be disappointed with these treatments.
There are three pools on the Lido deck: a small and quiet stern pool (behind the Lido Buffet restaurant, now features a new bar, pizzeria and large LED movie screens) and main and wading pools, located under a wide glass roof, under a wide glass roof, which includes a delightful cafe, cafe with Rattan chairs and hood chairs and hoods. On most cabin decks, on the patches of the sports decks, on the small pieces of the stern pool, there are more isolated areas for sunbathing above the stern pool. The sports deck also has a pair of practice tennis courts and schaffen boards. Joggers can use the uninterrupted lower promenade deck for exercise.
