First look at Universal Epic Universe, Universal New Theme Park

As the first US Main Park of the Disney and Universal entertainment giants in nearly 25 years, the Universal Epic Universe at Universal Orlando Resort is one of the most anticipated theme parks (and one of the Travel + free time‘s The best place to travel in 2025). Since the park was announced in 2019, we know it has the potential to change the theme park industry -not just in the United States, but around the world. Now, almost six years later, just a few weeks from the opening to the public on May 22, and this weekend, we were given the first look in it.

I served the dragon on the Isle of Berk, eating the Butterbeer crepe on the streets of the 1920s Paris in the Harry Potter-Ministry of Magic magic world, playing the real game of Mario Kart at Super Nintendo World, and narrowly escaped several monsters at the Dark Universe-and I just recorded a new surface. Universal Epic Universe-with its hyper-imersiven land built for a larger scale than a very innovative life and attraction-will surely be the hottest theme park ticket over the years to come.

This is our first view in the Universal Epic Universe.

Celestial park

Guests enter the park through Chronos, an icon that serves as a gateway to Celestial Park and other four -themed portals: Wizarding World of Harry Potter -Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon -Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe. Filled with large fountains, dancing, colored flowers, and lush landscapes, Celestial Park is the center of the epic universe, with every land (plus the new Helios Grand Hotel, a branched Loews hotel) from this main hub. Outside of the beautiful green space, the land is home to several restaurants, bars, shops, and two rides: The Dueling Stardust Racers Roller Coaster (the most intense coaster in the garden) and a quieter carousel.

Super Nintendo World

Super Nintendo World takes guests to the green pipe and in their favorite Nintendo game. When I first stepped into this land, I didn’t know where to see; You are immediately soaked in a video game land full of characters and coins moving in every direction. The land is split between Super Mario Land, where you will find two rides-Yoshi and Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, based on iconic games-and country Donkey Kong, home to track-cart-carts of roller coaster madness.

Outside of the restaurant and themed attractions, guests can showcase their experience by buying power bands to collect digital coins and more across the Super Nintendo World.

How to Train Your Dragon -The Kemmin

I will let you in a secret: I have never seen any —how How to train your dragon Movies up to two weeks ago, when I watched the first in the franchise. I admit this because I didn’t have much expectation to enter this land, but I was fascinated. When you walk through the portal, you see the soil spreading in front of you around the blue lagoon with a large Viking and Dragon statue.

As you expect, the land is full of dragons. There are Animatronic dragons coming out of their small homes, walking dragons created with a little valuable puppet and magic, and a dragon that looks and moves completely. Hiccup and Tootless Meet and Greet are not high on my list before I visit the Epic Universe, but it should be done. You can walk to toothless, his small dragon head, and watch when he responds to you; I don’t understand how it works, and that makes it more fun.

“Unforgettable dragons,” live stage shows that show a few moments of jaws, are another surprise, along with the pleasure of Hiccup’s Wing Gliders Coaster. The land is also home to two other attractions of Racer Dragon and Fyrre Drill -a playing area for small children, and some food and drinks.

The dark universe

It can be said that one of the most anticipated land among the theme park fans, Dark Universe is a scary area themed to universal classic monsters, such as Monster Frankenstein, Dracula, The Invisible Man, and more. Going to the dark universe, you pass through the cemetery and grave before entering a medieval village full of scary characters (including some of what you know). Monsters Unchained: Frankenstein experiments are one of the main attractions of the garden; Wild dark trips are wrapped with advanced animatronic figures.

The curse of Werewolf Spinning Coaster is another fun addition to the ground, and the location of the meal brings a pleasant vibration with their decoration and menu and drinks.

The Burning Blade Tavern will be a popular place to grab a drink (including a special cocktail). Make sure you keep an eye on the windmill over a beverage store covered by fire several times an hour.

World Wizarding Harry Potter -Ministry of Magic

When Universal Orlando started his debut Harry potter-The grounds At the Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida in 2010 and 2014, a new era for Universal Parks began. This ultra-immersive world is based on international franchise and film books internationally, and now, there are third installments based on both Harry potter and A great animal Movie.

When you walk through the portal, you are immediately transported to the Paris Wizarding 1920, and it’s just amazing. Like other lands at the Epic Universe, the scale here is amazing, with the Paris building jumping several stories and Art Nouveau touched around, including the classic green metro entrance you can still find in Paris today.

I can spend the rest of the day in the seats off the road connected to the cafe l’Ara de la sirene (butterbeer crepe and giggly water, please!), But of course, there are many more to see and do. Le Cirque Arcanus combines special effects with live performances for amazing visual shows.

Plus, it will not be Harry potter Areas without incredible travel, and Harry Potter and battle in the ministry may be the best. Passing the green powder to be transported from 1920 -Paris to the British Ministry of 1990s. Walking to the ministry, where you will find the main line, is a five -day moment for me, and you just have to do it yourself to get a full taste of how amazing it is.

You will pass the other scene -including the Dolores Umbridge Office released -before boarding a magic elevator car that takes you through a witch’s attempt. It is an attraction that combines amazing practical sets smoothly with the simulation of motion and screen that you will wonder -what is real and what’s magic.
