The Taiwanese airline Eva Air confirmed a fixed request for a six-range A350-1000 and three A321neo aircraft, which led to the completion of the commitment that was initially announced in March 2025.
This last demand from EVA AIR accumulation increases to a total of 24 A350-1000s and 18 A321neo awaiting delivery.
It is claimed that the A350 is the world’s latest aircraft on a large scale in the world, as it has set new travel standards between continents.
It has the longest ability to currently produce any commercial plane under production, with the ability to fly to up to 9,700 nm (18,000 km) without stopping.
The plane works on the latest generation of Rolls-Royce engines, which achieves a 25 % decrease in fuel consumption compared to the former generation models, as well as a similar decrease in carbon emissions.
In line with industry sustainability efforts, the A350 can work with up to 50 % of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), with Airbus aimed at its aircraft capable of using SAF 100 % by 2030.
The A350 family has obtained more than 1,360 requests from 60 customers worldwide, with more than 640 aircraft currently in service across 38 busy, primarily on long distance roads.
“The new additions to our fleet confirm our commitment to sustainable aviation and provide an exceptional travel experience,” said Eva Air Clay Sun.
“The A350-1000 and A321neo has set a high level in the categories of each, providing great efficiency and comfort for our passengers.”
The A321NEO, part of the A320neo family, features the latest technology, including new generation engines, graphics, and cabin efficiency improvements, which provide a 20 % improvement in fuel saving.
Since its launch in 2016, the A321neo has received more than 6800 requests from more than 90 customers, where they got more than 80 % of the market share in its class.
“The new EVA AIR orders confirm the permanent call to the long-term A350-1000 leader as an intercontinental standard, and A321neo as a leader in regional competence,” said Airbus commercial sales EVP Benoit de Saint-Exupery.
Last month, Airbus partnership with Japanese AirlinesNippon Paper Industries, Sumitomo Corporation, and the Green Earth Institute for the Production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
This cooperation aims to support the carbon low community and help the aviation industry in reaching net net carbon emissions by 2050, using exported biology of local wood.
