The European Theme Park is stealing the top spot at Disneyland Paris in its brief queue – home to Europe’s tallest and fastest roller coaster.
Portaventura, Saru, Spainis the most popular theme park in the country, attracting about 5.3 million tourists each year.
This is less than a third of Disneyland’s 16.1 million guests – so it’s called a “better” place that can avoid the famous route.
Portaventura transports park crowds to different worlds, themed on five regions: Mediterranean, Far West, Polynesia, Mexico and China.
It also has a dedicated children’s area of Sesame Street, centered on Sesame Street.
Some of the most exciting rides seeking for Portaventura include Shambhala – Shambhala is one of the highest and fastest roller coasters in Europe, rising to 76 meters high and up to 134 km/h/h- and Hurakan Condor, a free mountain tower that hits riders from a height of 100 meters high.
Portaventura also has a water park, Caribbean water park, and water slides are everywhere.
Ferrari Land is a region of the park dedicated to car brands and is home to Europe’s tallest and fastest roller coaster, powerful red power.

It’s an impressive 112 meters high with a speed of 112 miles per hour.
To see through this, the highest roller coaster in the UK, Hyperia, it Opened last year at Thorpe Park72 meters high and 80 miles per hour.

“The queue is very acceptable – the longest waiting time we experienced was about 30 minutes and it was worth it, it was better than Disneyland,” said a man from Sydney, Australia on TripAdvisor.
A visitor from County Durham said: “It’s much better than Disneyland Paris, the rides are very interesting, with a short queue (15-30 minutes).
“This park is well-decorated and has many rides for all types of thrillers.”
Another said: “The night show is like the Disney or the Olympics opening–impressed.”
For some, it’s even more interesting than British theme parks: “I find this park better than Disney and British theme parks I’ve been to.”

Adults entering the park are priced at £33.45 and children are priced at £29.27.
Meanwhile, budget-friendly flights to Barcelona can be found in the UK, while East Midlands Airport currently has fares under £15.
