EasyJet flight attendants from popular holiday destinations will strike next week.
The strike is scheduled to begin on April 9 from 10:30pm to 2.30pm, bringing fresh aviation chaos to the British, hoping to escape Italy For some spring sunshine.
Members of the Italian Federation of Transport Workers (FILT), Italian Labor Forces Federation (CGIL) and Italian Union of Transportation (UIL) convened a four-hour strike next week.
Despite the short scope of industrial action, this can be expensive for EasyJet, causing disruption to travelers in the following hours.
Anton Radchenko, CEO of International Lawyer and Payroll Expert Airadvisorclaiming that if the plane fails to take off and causes the flight to be cancelled, the strike could have a “ripple effect” throughout the industry.
Mr Radchenko also explained that even if they were simply delayed, other planes could miss their departure time, so flights to and from the UK could face lengthy delays.
Mr Radchenko said: “The flight attendant strike could be a huge disruption to the daily operations of the airline.
“This is because flight attendants are an important part of the services provided by commercial airlines, helping passengers to fly pleasantly while also ensuring safety equipment works properly and demonstrating emergency procedures,” he told him. Daily Mirror.

Mr Radchenko claims that the blow to working conditions and pay could make 2025 a “airline-wide nightmare”
Last month, Italian tourists faced the EasyJet pilot and staff of AssoHandlers’ industrial action, representing baggage handlers and ground staff at major airports.
This was followed by a nationwide strike on March 8 that caused widespread travel disruptions.
Last month, staff from Finnair’s flagship airline Finnair walked out in another strike, resulting in 70 flights being cancelled within one day.
Mr Radchenko explained that if more than three hours were cancelled or delayed due to strike action, passengers were entitled to compensation between £220 and £520.
He urged any travelers facing delays or cancellations on April 9 to use the free compensation calculator from the air consultant to figure out what you may owe before filing a claim.
EasyJet told MailOnline in a statement: “easyJet has been formally informed of a four-hour strike on air transport, including some of the Italian-based cabin crew unions, which on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, is expected to affect certain flights to and from Milan and Naples airports.
“We want to assure our clients that we are doing everything possible to make any disruption caused by strike litigation and that if any flights are affected, we will contact the client directly to help with their choices to help reschedule their plans.”
