Delta Techops, Maintenance Department, Reform, and Reform (MRO) Delta Airlines
An agreement with UPS Airlines signed to serve the PRATT & Whitney PW2000 series. Under this integrated deal, DELTA Techops will provide maintenance for maintenance for the UPS Boeing 757 Breakers, supported by PRATT & Whitney PW2037 engines.
The Delta Techops is located at Atlanta Hartfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL), and is one of the largest MRO service providers in North America. An integrated agreement for a period of 10 years
Delta Techops and UPS Airlines signed an integrated agreement for a period of 10 years. As part of the deal, Delta Techops will provide maintenance and repair services for the entire fleet of the pratt & Whitney fleet provided by Whitney. according to Ch-aivation Data, the shipping holder has a total of 75 Boeing 757-200 shipping, an average age of 31.7 years.
About half of the fleet is supported by the PRATT & Whitney PW2000 engine, and the other half by Rolls-Royce RB211 engines. It should be noted that the PW2000 series is running all Boeing models with a double-engine 757 engine, which is the exclusive power like the F117 for military transport C-17 Globemaster III. The PW2000 Pw2000 family includes three variables: PW2037, PW2040 and PW2043.
It is worth noting that Delta Techops stated that it will provide maintenance for UPS Boeing 757s equipped with PW2037 engines. However, according to the Ch-AIVATION data, UPS Airlines is 757 years supported by both PW2037 and PW2040 variables. Delta Techops has announced the deal on the social media post on LinkedIn. More about the PW2000 engine series
The PW2000 engine has entered a commercial service in 1984 as the first to include full digital electronic control technology (FADEC). In 1994, PRATT & Whitney presented an upgrade version – low temperature composition (RTC).
