Deadly assaults by three family members as they walk on a track near Philadelphia

Police will lead the investigation in concert with the Bristol city government to determine why these people are driving on track first.

“Amtrak is working with the Bristol Borough Police Department to investigate the incident,” a spokesperson said.

Authorities did not provide the victim’s name or gender, but did confirm that they were both adults and the same family.

Commuters on Friday morning will hear Amtrak officials announce that northbound and southbound tracks of the train station area were reopened before 11 p.m. EST after clearing the scene of the accident and collecting evidence.

For 236 passengers on the high-speed Acela train, who attacked the group Thursday night, officials said they were transported by shuttles to nearby stations by shuttle, so they could continue to go to their destination. No injuries were reported involving passengers on the train.
