Brightline reveals a loyalty program: Here is everything you need to know


Brightline soon became a favorite of fans when it comes to wandering in Florida. Now, for the first time, you launch its reward program.

Florida -based railway runs high -speed trains from C Station at Orlando International Airport (MCO) in central Florida to Miami, covering 235 miles between 3 and 3 1/2 hours, About half a scale stops along the way.

On Friday, the company announced its loyalty program called BRIGHTLINE Rewards, which will provide customers with ways to earn recovery points on the train riding and recover throughout The Sunshine State.

The company planned to officially unveil the new loyalty program at an event later on Friday morning in Miami.

“Our guests have always been at the center of everything we did,” Patrick Godard, CEO of Bright Line in Florida, told TPG. “Brightline Bonuses is the next step in admitting their loyalty.”

Brightline Rewards for repeated bikes will provide the opportunity to gain points on everything from train tickets to food and drinks purchased in the company’s station halls – or on its trains.

The basic price will be 5 points per dollar spending on the brochure bridge purchases. A unique development is accustomed to aviation loyalty programs that many of us are used to: you can earn points on multiple tickets. Everyone who bought tickets will get points. So, if you book a train trip for yourself and some family members, you will get all points.

You can start getting points on the purchases after subscribing to the Brightline Rewards starting from Friday.

Note that Brightline does not plan, yet, to give up points retroactively on previous purchases.

To start the new loyalty program, BRIGHTLINE offers triple profits for a limited period. From now until June 3, you will be able to win 15 points per dollar spending on qualified purchases.

As part of the new program, Brightline Rewards will also get special savings at stations and get exclusive access to deals, supporters and events, the company said.

This includes a 10 % discount for members at Marie Mary and Market stores located in the Bright Line stations.

In an additional feature, loyalty members will also get early access to flash sales of the company sometimes for train tickets.

What can you do with the new Prit points? There is a variety of options.

BRIGHTLINE Bonuses can recover the points of the train riding. The company plans to provide options for college prizes (in other words, a “free” trip), a cash option and points, similar to what many flying loyalty programs and the hotel offer to customers who have no enough miles or points to cover a full reservation.

How many points does the redemption require?

Now, the big question: How many points do you cost the train?

BRIGHTLINE plans to use dynamic pricing, as the company told TPG.

This means that the number of points you will need for redemption will differ from reservation to the next. As a result, the number of points you will need to redeem depend on several factors, including the type of seat and the popularity of travel dates.

For the demonstration, here are specific examples made by the company.

  • A short trip between Miami and West Palm Beach: for an example of $ 35, you will need about 3,500 points to completely cover the reservation.
  • A longer trip between Miami and Orlando: For $ 75, you will need about 7500 points to cover the trip.

This is about one cent of value for each point, in both cases.

There are no points lowest to recover, no dates of blackouts or hidden bases.

“Brightline Rewards was designed with our guests in mind,” said Barbara Derral, Vice President of Marketing and Commercial Strategy at Bright Line. “We are really easy to register, really easy to join, earn and recover.”

Dral also indicated that Brightline has no limit to reaching points for its recovery. To this end, the new program for members will allow the recovery of smaller amounts of points for auxiliary elements such as bags, concessions or promotions to excellent cars.

“Once the points are granted after the ride seizure, the guest can use these points directly to the next upgrade, purchase, luggage or any kind of auxiliary elements,” Dral.

How to recover BRIGHTLINE rewards

It should be somewhat clear to recover Brightline rewards:

  • Points can be applied while going out when booking through the BRIGHTLINE application or web site. You can use points towards train tickets, promotions, luggage fees, pets, daily parking, multiple beams, and monthly parking. Guests will see the option to recover points on the payment screen.
  • Members can show their digital card for Brightline (in the application or save it in a mobile portfolio) with a 10 % discount in Mary Marie and MRKT at the station.
  • To see your total points, log in to your BRIGHTLINE account on the website or application and go to the BRIGLINE rewards section within “My Account”. You will see the balance of your current points, and points awaiting the date of full transactions.
