The holiday island recently launched a campaign of “riotous” tourists to protect its holy sites and “cultural integrity” in Bali, with those who penetrate the new rules facing fines and even prison.
Women were banned from entering the worn temples during their session, which is the site of the official visit to Bali because menstrual blood is “dirty” and will make the temple unclean.
Tourists must respect local customs and “maintain the cleanliness of the surrounding environment”, adding Bali.
“We have issued a similar list before, but as things change, we need adaptation,” Bali Wayyan Costre said at a press conference.
