Arrival in Albuquerque is now open

  • Albuquerque from fashion hotel brand Palisociety is now open and located in the heart of the city.
  • The stylish design of this 137-room hotel is inspired by the high desert – both earthy tones, wooden decor and interesting chandeliers.
  • There is also an on-site restaurant, DWTNR cocktail bar and lounge, specializing in handmade cocktails and light bites.

Famous for its chic, effortless boutique hotel, Palisociety has just opened its latest outpost, this time in a charming place. Now, Albuquerque is another reason to book a trip to one of New Mexico’s most exciting cities.

Arrive at downtown Albuquerque across from Robinson Park on Central Avenue, once the old Route 66. There are 137 rooms scattered in six stories, a seasonal pool (plus a swimming club) and an on-site restaurant, DWTNR Cocktail Bar & Lounge.

The building where the house now arrives was built in 1965 and was originally named Downtowner and later Blue Hotel. Blue Hotel joined Palisociety’s portfolio in 2021, when the brand acquired hotels and restaurants. Palisociety then took about a year (and thoughtfully) to re-reform the property, transforming it into a modern hotel, and injecting a small Joie de Vivre back to downtown Albuquerque.

“The city is already mature,” Avi Brosh, CEO and founder of Palisociety, said in an interview. Travel + Leisure. “Since we’ve worked in hotels, we’ve met many interesting local manufacturers, artists, entrepreneurs and creatives and we’re excited to be at the forefront of the next chapter in downtown.”

On the exterior of the building, you will see a vast mural created by the local restaurant and Chicana artist Nani Chacon. The murals are reminiscent of original artwork that once glorified the front of the building and featured the candy-red Candy-Red Lowrider in the blooming nopal cactus.

Inside the hotel guests will find warm, minimalist interiors and soft pastel palettes inspired by the high deserts of New Mexico and the organic design movement of the 1970s. This is the first property under a Design Pardy umbrella that Brosh and the internal team have fully supervised. You will find chandeliers, wooden decor, luxurious lounge seating, and earthy och, white and brick-red tiles all over the public areas.

“We pay tribute to the city and its southwest, but express it to T+L in a real, creative, rude and unexpected way. “I think it blends the classic influence of New Mexico with a young aesthetic that provides seamlessly. ”

Albuquerque is available in four different room types: King, Double, Double, Suite or accessible. Whatever accommodation they choose, guests can enjoy the property’s iconic weird aesthetic, Victrola Bluetooth speakers, a room with a selection of minibars, soft robes and adult alchemist bath products. Booking here also gives you access to the 24/7 fitness center and Zia Sun-shaped swimming pool.

Albuquerque is definitely a cooking moment, with several ABQ chefs making it James Beard semifinal list This year, including Kattia Rojas enjoy and Sean Sinclair Chaco Hotel Level 5. However, you don’t have to take a step to find amazing food. Simply head to the DWNTR Cocktail Lounge and Bar, specializing in American and Asian American comfort food.
