Airlines have warned holiday manufacturers that their suitcase colors should not be used.
If passengers want to avoid the disaster of losing their luggage, which could make a vacation or break the holiday, it is best to have a unique suitcase.
If you want to make sure you don’t exchange your luggage with someone else’s, black, gray and navy are the colors to avoid, Ryanair said.
“Make it easier for you to find your boarding luggage on the wheels, especially if your luggage is black, navy or grey,” the major budget airline said.
“Add colorful luggage tags or ribbons to the handles to make it unconfused when it arrives.”
It was a surprising report by the Economic Times that the black bag was found to be the most common suitcase color at airports.
While this may be an obvious choice, passengers may unconsciously increase the chances of travel nightmare.
Stefan Schulte, owner of Frankfurt Airport, also urged people to avoid black luggage when traveling, as his airport has been struggling with an airport that is “indistinguishable from each other”.

“Many people travel with black suitcases on wheels, which makes them very time-consuming,” he said.
The dark tone makes the black suitcase almost impossible to distinguish on the conveyor belt, especially when the plane is loaded with passengers and luggage.
If vacationers want to avoid lost luggage and have to rely on travel insurance, having colorful bags or labels is the way to go.
These can also make it easy for airport staff to help you identify your luggage and return it to you if you lose it.
