I’m a fan of Xterra, it’s no secret as it’s still one of the best 4WD values on the market. We’ve shown a variety of adventure products, including this $9,500 2003$5,100 2004$26,000 2015 Pro 4x. Today, the 2009 Nissan Xterra Off Road (171, XXX) is by far the cheapest, with only $4,500 OBO. At this price, it is not only the most affordable Xterra we have shown, but it is one of the best value rigs we have shown. Just add a DIY bed platform, sleeping bag, camp stove, basic supplies and get on the road. As someone who has lived on the road for ten years, my strongest advice is to buy a budget rig like this and go. When you spend money on travel, it’s easy to get locked into an expensive vehicle made (I know, I know). But just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean it’s a man-made 4WD, as the Xterra is a proven vehicle with legal remote areas. From the seller:
“For sale my 2009 Nissan Xterra Off-Road. I am the original owner. There are some off-road rashes on the passenger’s back door. This is an accident, another person’s insurance company totals. However, it does have a clean title and the airbag is not deployed. It hits from the right side of the rear quarter panel, which is why the outer quarter panel steps are damaged. If you want more detailed information or pictures, please DM me. ”
