AFI KLM E & M and CMA CGM AIR CARGO Sign GE90 MRO Deal


Air France Industries KLM has signed the Engineering and Maintenance (AFI KLM E & M) and CMA CGM AIR CARGO as a comprehensive contract for the extended maintenance that covers Ge90 engines.

Based on a contract that started in 2022, which covered four Ge90 engines with a preliminary period ending in 2030, this new agreement has greatly expanded the partnership that will merge the CMA CGM CARGO 6 additional GE90 engines in the current decade, up to the total engines.

This extension also extends the contract period until 2033, ensuring long -term cooperation and enhancing the operational efficiency of the CMA CGM AIR CARGO fleet.

Besides the engine support, AFI KLM E & M will maintain a commitment to provide comprehensive components, which increases the reliability of CMA CGM AIR CARGO.

The signing of this new agreement is a certificate at the high level of CMA CGM AIR CARGO places in AFI KLM E & M experience. Pierre Topol, First Vice President of Commercial AFI KLM E & M.He said: “We were truly honored through the CMA CGM CARGO decision to expand their confidence in the United States. This expansion in our current contract to include additional engines that represents strong support for our technical competence and our commitment to excellence in the maintenance of the ge90 engines.
