“One of the biggest mistakes made by first cruisers is overpackaging. While it’s easy to prepare for every possible situation, you definitely don’t need six formal outfits.
Cruises are becoming more and more casual, so stick to the use of versatile debris. Trust me, you’ll spend more time wearing a swimsuit or comfortable outfit than the one you think you need.
The cruise cabin is usually on the smaller side, so it is best to leave any unnecessary clothes in your wardrobe at home.
Another big mistake that first-time guests often make is “ignoring the daily planners,” Mike said.

Experts explain: “From salsa classes to cooking demonstrations, the boat’s itinerary is full of activities – it’s a way to make sure you don’t miss out on the fun you love.
“Before boarding, make sure to research what your cruise offers. Many cruise companies recommend booking coastal excursions, dining reservations and spa treatments.
“They often offer apps or personalized planners to help you with this problem, which is a good idea because popular experiences can be filled quickly.”
While planners who forget to check the boat may see guests missing out on an interesting activity, some other crimes may even upset the crew.
“The sunbed is one of the biggest crimes – don’t want that person! Leaving a towel on the sunbed all day will not only frustrate other guests, but also frustrate the crew. Considering you plan to use it, there is only one claim.”
On some cruise ships, if the staff is unattended for more than an hour, the staff will remove passengers’ belongings from the sunbeds.
But that’s not the only way Cruise vacationers can foil the crew.

When it comes to buffets, Mike also shares some top tips to ensure passengers get the “freshest food.”
Experts claim: “One of the most common buffet mistakes is reaching peak hours after the boat tour returns or after a standard meal time.
“If you want to skip the crowd and get the freshest option, try the buffet immediately before turning it on or off.
“The other hacker is not afraid to ask employees when they will be made or come out. They are usually happy to share tips on when you can get the best option so you can dive before you disappear.
“Remember it’s a parade, not a race. No need to seize everything. The food won’t go anywhere, and the second or third serving will have plenty of time.
