Five-mast, tangled on the deck of 342 passengers Wind surfing–Known as the flagship in the Windstar Cruises sailing fleet, I was fascinated by the nearby Nevis Mountain (shown at the right), a group of moody clouds that clung to the faint day.
Four levels of outdoor teak deck – where you can find two bars, a swimming pool, a hot tub, balcony restaurant and many seats that offer spacious real estate to absorb Windstar’s classic round trip to the Caribbean tropical setting St. Martin arrive Nevis,,,,, dominican,,,,, saint lucia, saint, St. Bartand St. Kitts.
The ship’s five masts have majestic features, but the sails are computer-operated and are mainly used for display, as the ship relies on a diesel-powered engine. Although it has flourished over the years, Wind surfing It has been on the sea since 1989.
Traveling with my husband and my college son, I wanted to see how the boat was lifted.

Transport accommodation and on-board experience
In our case, at least, parade proves that families with (almost) adult children are a wise choice. We combine with heart-to-heart talk during Happy Hour drinks and form a family team (and win!) for one of the daily trivia contests.

Deck meals are a highlight, especially in the open air breakfast balcony A buffet surrounded by bright blue water and bright blue sky, as well as Windstar’s weekly BBQ buffet dinner. With orange, red and purple brushstrokes scribbling on the horizon before the stars stole the show, we piled up the plates with pulling pork, ribs, grilled shrimp, cheesecake, etc.
Our family occupies a pair of 188 square feet side by side Category Tx Cabin, the standard room of the ship. There is too much storage space and several of our cabinets are empty.
The bathroom also has spacious toiletries shelves and comes with L’Occitane products. However, for larger people, tubular showers may become tight.
Glass bottles re-add fresh water with fresh water every day, if you choose Windstar, the contents of the stock minibar All-inclusive package (If the scheduled referee is booked, $99 per day). It also covers alcoholic beverages, Wi-Fi and tips.

The somewhat tired decor in the standard cabin will be made for a makeover in 2026. The boat has been worn in a stylish new suite.
Classic Caribbean Port
As a family, we enjoyed a hike on the remains of Fort Rodney in the 18th century and Fort Rodney in St. Lucia’s and the remains of Fort Rodney in the 18th century Pigeon Islandwhile the charming Terre-de-Haut, Les Saintes, we unfortunately chose the disappointing and expensive ($149 per person) glass bottom scribing around the harbor, striding at a cloud image of one or two brain corals, but striding at a fish or two and a few fish.
As our sons stayed on the boat, my husband and I were in the little St. Bart in Gustavia, for us, the beauty went beyond the glittering of golden light. We trek to the remains of the mountaintop of the 18th-century Swedish fortress Karl, admired the island’s jagged coastline and cut with white sand arcs.
In the lush Dominican Dominican, the two of us signed the guided tour of “Rainforest Avenue, Emerald Pool and River Pipeline” ($109 per person), which is a valuable opportunity to admire the island’s dense tropical leaves in the drive itself and the water.

Expansion swimming pier
as well as Wind surfingThe outdoor deck on the boat is another happy place for me. At anchor, the stern of the ship opens like a giant metal robot mouth, keeping the swimming platform almost level with the waterline. From the platform, I swim in the sea almost every day, kicking away when hanging on noodles (also paddleboards and kayaking), swaying another picturesque Caribbean harbor.
Remember that the dock is at the discretion of the captain and you should be a relatively powerful swimmer to deal with the powerful trend.
Meals on the board, convenience and entertainment
Meals on board are open seating and casual restaurants (T-shirts and shorts are common), and breakfast and lunch are served in the buffet room/outdoor balcony restaurant (love salads and daily specialties such as sushi).
For dinner, choose from three dining options: Recent Attractions Ambolah Restaurant or two reservations (usually you can get it once a week): Tavern Star For mainland fares and Candle Steak and seafood. My sons were craving about lamb and steak. My favorite is the sea bass baked on parchment.

The onboard facilities include a large, well-stocked gym with sea views and daily extension/yoga classes. At the spa I had a 75-minute quality hot stone massage for $299, not including tips.

Low-key entertainment involves some solo performers singing in the bar and main lounge, playing guitar, piano or electric violin. The highlight of the meal was the popular crew talent exhibition and the 80s combination of danced DJs.
36 years old, Wind surfing Showing its age, good and sick. In Benefits: The boat’s classic pedal deck is rarely found on new boats. Among the disadvantages: Break tenders and underserved elevators are not a minor inconvenience during our cruises.
That is, over the years, the Windstar fleet has undergone several renovations (brand new ones) Seeking stars In its debut later this year), the line continues to direct loyal followers.
