Boeing has announced a final agreement to strip major sectors of the Digital Aviation Solutions Unit.
The deal, which is worth $ 10.55 billion for all the engraving, will witness Thoma Bravo, a software investment company, to obtain assets including Jeppesen, Foreflight, Aerdata and Ozrunays.
Despite the sale, Boeing will maintain basic digital capabilities that benefit from data for aircraft and fleet to support commercial and defensive operations.
These jobs will continue to provide predictive and predictive maintenance solutions, and support for diagnostic and repair services.
“This transaction is an important element in our strategy to focus on basic companies, complete the public budget and determine the priorities of the credit rating of the degree of investment,” said Kelly Ordrag, Boeing President and CEO.

About 3,900 employees worldwide work at the Boeing’s Digital Aviation Solutions, which include elements of the remaining works inside Boeing and those in the sale.
Boeing says it works with Thoma Bravo to help ensure a smooth warranty as much as possible to employees while continuing to meet customer needs according to all obligations.
The transaction is expected to be closed by the end of 2025 and is subject to organizational approval and the conditions of the usual closure.
