A major cruise and cheap holiday provider has entered administration, potentially affecting thousands of British holidaymakers.
Jet travel, bASED in the North Barnet London,,,,, Mainly as an agency, it sold cruising and packed holidays, but stopped trading as an ATOL holder on March 6.
The company also trades under other names including late holidays, cruises and more, elegant gigs and jet cruises.
Cruises, Cunard and Holland America, all operated by Carnival, P&O Cruises was influenced by the cruise brand.
Carnival announced that it would cancel reservations made through Jetline in early March.
“We recognize how disappointing this news will be for the affected guests and sincerely apologize for the damage caused. This decision was not made easily.
“Customers with affected bookings have been contacted directly via their cruise route to suggest their booking status and are encouraged to contact Jetline Holidays directly.”
Customers who booked a P&O Cruise booking via jetline should check the booking using P&O Cruise.

Cruises announced that they will “transfer all jet bookings to P&O Cruises as much as possible.”
ATOL (Air Travel Organizer License) is a financial protection program run by the Civil Aviation Administration (CAA) that protects consumers when booking packages that include flights.
A vacationer who booked a trip with an ATOL provider should refund the book if the company went bankrupt.
In a statement issued by Jetline, CAA said stopping the transaction as an ATOL provider: “If you have an ATOL flight pack package booking and have issued a flight ticket, the flight may be valid for the trip and it is recommended that you check with the airline. If the airline confirms that you have a valid travel ticket, you can choose to travel.
“However, other services have not been paid to local suppliers and you will be asked to reschedule and pay for those services again. To avoid any problems with the resort, you should confirm the fees for all services where possible.
“If you choose to travel and use a valid flight, you will not be protected in travel arrangements packaged and linked 2018 because your package travel provider has stopped trading.
“So you will be responsible for any risks arising from each individual element of your trip that would have been protected before.”
